About Fire Dragon Clan Alliance

Mission Statement:

The Fire Dragon Clan (and Alliance) is a social guild/alliance. We are a mature guild/alliance that tries to have fun in all aspects of the game. We don't take to many things seriously, after all this is a game right? We have a wide variety of player experience, and you can find someone to do most anything with. Primarily pve, but we do have our pvp players as well.

Member Code of Conduct:

Respect: Members must show respect toward each other and all members of the Fire Dragon community.

Loyalty: Members must be loyal to both their guild members and their leadership. Essentially, that just means don't stab people in the back, don't try and scam members, etc.

Self Sufficient: Please be self suffient in the game. Whether you have been playing a while or you are new to the games. People see higher level guild members with lots of money and items. There is a reason why they have those things...They Played Through The Game! It is fine to ask for help if you have a question, that is why the officers and other guild members are here to help each other. There are many websites out there that specialize in Guild Wars that can answer your questions as well or if not better the those in the guild. If you cannot find an answer to your question after honestly looking through other sources than feel free to ask away.

If you need help with a quest that is fine too...just ask. But here are the things we do not need to see...."Can someone run me through a mission? You can get with a group to do those things. "Anyone have money they can give me?" Beggers will not be tolerated. Bottom line is play the game and only ask if you really need help. Other players do not need to constantly interrupt their game play for your lack of wanting to play through the game or searching for easy answers to your questions.

Patience: Members need to have the patience and understanding of other guildmembers during game play. Some people don't catch on as quickly as other members when it comes to game concepts. After all it might be the members first MMO they have every played. Please answer all questions and help each other out unless they fall into any catagory that was mentioned under the self sufficient section.

Adaptability: Members should be willing to adapt to new situations and make suggestions. If you think an individual, or the guild as a whole, could be doing something better, feel free to express those opinions at an appropriate time in a respectful manner.

Fun and Maturity: While members are encouraged to have fun while playing, we expect everyone to play seriously when the time or events calls for concentration. If you find yourself on the receiving end of insults or other comments please tell that person that is doing it that you do not appreciate it and the comments will stop. Even though we carry on like a bunch of foul mouthed sailors some comments and words will not be accepted at all and will result in the removal of that person from the guild (i.e. racial slurs of any kind to include ones that are commonly used by certain racial or etnic groups to each other, sexist comments that offend someone).

Communications: When ever a problem arises in the guild it is usually due to some communication problem. Typing in the game takes away from the emotions that the voice has. Sometimes other members can take a statement the wrong way (That is why we suggest that all members download ventrillo, it's free. Even if you don't have a microphone you can still at least listen to everyone.) and this can lead to people getting mad at each other.

If you have a problem with another person, try and talk it out with that member via whisper instead of calling names at each other in guild chat. If you cannot resolve the dispute yourselves contact a guild officer and let them handle the matter. Players do not need to be distracted by a bunch of drama while playing!

Recruitment

We like to welcome anyone and everyone into our guild, so if you are the type of person who is easy-going, likes having fun and helping others out, please do not hesitate to contact any of the officers or guild leader in game so that you can join in the fun!
